About us
Thormani Blacksmith’s Workshop started operating in 1997 in the small village of Veelikse, near the Latvian border. By the end of the first year, nine blacksmiths and a few helpers were already working in the workshop. Most of the production at that time was sold to Sweden.
In 2004, we purchased land in the former Tahkuranna municipality and built new buildings there for both production and living. By 2005, all activities had moved to Reiu village, on the edge of the city of Pärnu. Here, in what is now Häädemeeste municipality, the company has gone through significant changes over the years. As society and available technologies have evolved, so have we.
We press, bend, and weld metal, making things that are genuinely useful and built to last.
Our products include metal garden furniture, garden decorations, plant stands, and shelves. We also produce larger structures such as steel-beam staircases, gates, and canopies.
We offer CO₂ laser cutting and engraving, producing signs, direction boards, light boxes, gifts, and smaller metal parts.
In addition, we provide CAD and CAM drawing services, both for manufacturing purposes and for those who need their ideas and plans turned into drawings and files.
We do our work calmly and properly, the way work should be done in a real workshop.
How to find us:
Our location is clearly marked in navigation apps.
When driving from Pärnu toward Riga, about 4 km outside the city, turn right under the viaduct (signs point to Lottemaa, Golf, Reiu Beach). Drive over the viaduct and follow the sign “Thormani Talu.” Continue along the paved side road for about 900 meters to reach our farm.
What you can see on site:
-
A small shop selling handicrafts and our own products
-
A seasonal weekend café open during the summer
-
By prior arrangement and during events such as Open Farm Days, we also organize blacksmithing workshops
You are welcome to visit and get to know our work!
